13 May Winter 2020 Update
Following the latest easing of Covid-19 restrictions the Executive Committee have met to discuss and work out the way forward for our Club.
No training can commence at the Goodwood indoor court at this time.
The government has said outdoor training can occur for groups of 10 people per court, including but not limited to; strict social distancing (1.5m at all time), strict hygiene and non-contact rules in place (ball skills and fitness only), as per those set out by Netball SA. The Association have said clubs can commence training from the 18/5/2020 at their city courts however due to restrictions the toilet/change rooms facilities cannot be used during training.
At this time it is still unknown if there will be a winter 2020 competition.
The Executive Committee has deemed it is not feasible to commence face to face training for our juniors or seniors at this time and the executive will reassess the situation in two weeks.
We understand that it is can be frustrating in these unprecedented times as restrictions are lifted slowly but unfortunately everything is an unknown and the health and wellbeing of our members is paramount.
We will keep you all updated with the latest SA Government updates as the restrictions are eased and with what it means for netball.
