The purpose of this registration is for those intending to play netball for Westbourne Park Uniting Church Netball Club (WPUCNC) for the upcoming Winter 2023.  As in previous years WPUCNC will cap the number of winter teams to 50.

WPUCNC is not holding trials for the winter 2023 season.  Team placements will be done by a paper trial, based on Coach’s feedback forms and player’s previous netball history.  Considerations may be given to friendship grouping as requested on this form, in these cases players shall be graded on the ability of the lower division player. If your child would like to play with a friend or be considered for another team, please mark clearly on registration and we will do our best to accommodate this.

Age groups for winter 2023 are based on the player’s year of birth as outline below:

  • 8&u – 2015, 2016
  • 9&u – 2014
  • 11&u – 2012, 2013
  • 13&u – 2010, 2011
  • 15&u – 2008, 2009
  • 17&u – 2006, 2007
  • Open – 2005 and before

The Winter 2023 season will commence 25th March 2023, for six team grades and 1st April 2023 for all other grades.  There are 15 minor rounds and three major rounds with the Grand Final on the 19th August 2023.

Matches are played on Saturday afternoons in three time slots 12:00pm, 1:30pm and 3:00pm.

Junior (8&u thru 15&u) matches are played on a home and away basis.

17&u and Open matches are played at Association Courts in the South Parklands bounded by Goodwood Rd, Greenhill Road and Anzac Highway.

Training is compulsory for all WPUCNC players during the winter season.  The majority of WPUCNC 13&u through to Open and some high division 11&u teams train on Wednesday nights at Association Courts.  Players in 8&u, 9&u and low division 11&u teams may train at the Goodwood Rd indoor court either on the Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday subject to the availability of their coach.

Registration is done via the PlayHQ platform.  For those that already have a PlayHQ account please use the same account to register for WPUCNC.

For those that have not used the PlayHQ system you will need to create an account.  For players under 18 the account will need to be setup under the parent’s name and then any other siblings will also be linked to this account.

A non-refundable deposit of $100 must be received at the time of registering, and this will be put as a part payment towards your Winter 2023 fees.
